The Detomet 2.0 is an instrument specially designed for delay measurements, for pyrotechnic and electronic detonators initiated by shock tube.

The Detomet 2.0 returns the delay of 1 to 5 detonators.

Use and operation

Based on the same fiber optic technology as the Explomet 2 series, the Detomet 2.0 can measure the delay of non electric and electric detonators initiated by shock tube with high accuracy.

  1. Measure the practical detonation speed of the shock tube. This often varies from the theoretical value.
  2. Measure the delay of 5 identical detonators in one go, for an optimal quality control.

Optical fibers are suitable for all types of detonators:

  • Surface detonators, bunch block, snapline connector, and similar
  • In hole detonators, with adapter, supplied as per customer request according to the diameter of your detonators
  • Long delay detonators, with adapter, supplied as per customer request according to the diameter of your detonators
