Kontinitro SA is a limited company headquartered in Geneva, Switzerland. Founded in 1936, the company quickly specialized in precision measuring instruments for the explosives industry. High performance chronographs have been developed to measure very short time intervals, in order to determine propagation speeds of several tens of thousands of meters per second.

Our Explomet instruments allow you to check the detonation or combustion speed of your products to match the expected standard. Detonation speed greatly influences rock fragmentation, propulsion speed and detonator delays. Confirming the correct V.O.D saves a lot of resources, and therefore money.
